We VC Announces Exit of Zetta Genomics in TriNetX Acquisition
We Venture Capital, the corporate venture capital arm of Werfen, today announced a successful exit from its investment in Zetta Genomics, following TriNetX’s acquisition of Zetta Genomics. The transaction marks an important milestone for Zetta and underscores growing demand for federated, multiomic data capabilities across global healthcare and life sciences ecosystems.
Zetta’s flagship platform, XetaBase®, is a multiomic data capture and analytics platform designed for population-scale genomic analysis. XetaBase is used by leading healthcare provider organizations, life sciences companies, and research institutes to support research and patient care innovation. As part of the transaction, TriNetX has announced it will leverage the newly acquired XetaBase technology to further its product offering and growth in the genomics space, creating a strong foundation for scaling multiomic-enabled research while maintaining the localized data stewardship required by healthcare providers.
