We Venture Capital expand the team
We Venture Capital is delighted to announce that Gemma Sturt has joined the team as a Senior Investment Manager.
Gemma has a background of 5+ years building and investing in start-ups across life sciences. She has supported the deployment of several early stage VC funds including at BioCity, which was acquired in 2021, and has worked with various portfolio companies at Board level.
Prior to her investment career, Gemma held commercial roles at two VC-backed start-ups after graduating in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, and Università degli Studi di Firenze, Italy.
We are thrilled to have Gemma join our team, bringing many years of investment and board experience. Her technical degree in combination with hands-on background in building startups further strengthens our team but also aligns with the way We VC work in supporting our portfolio as an engaged and hands-on investor.
